Precision Machining Workshop

Integral to the Special Techniques facility is our workshop which accommodates a range of conventional and CNC machinery.

Our technicians are experienced in working with a wide range of research materials, and producing high precision components that befit the exacting demands of the fusion research environment.

The workshop allows us to operate as a “one-stop shop”, by enabling us to offer our clients a full range of services from design, through manufacture to a range of specialised processing methods.

Whatever your machining requirements are, whether stand-alone, or as part of a larger package of work, you will always be welcome to drop in to discuss them with us.

We will do everything possible to accommodate your requirements, offer sound manufacturing advice, and provide you with a clear indicator of cost issues.
