Macro/Micrographical Analysis

To be certain that our procedures produce the desired results, regular microscopic analyses are undertaken. Sections can be potted, etched and photographed to prove the process.

Illustrated is the longitudinal section of a 1mm connector, with a welded wire plug.

The section confirms that a uniform seal weld was achieved.

Tiny crimped cable assemblies sectioned to prove that adequate conductor deformation has been achieved, minimising resistive joints.
