Your principal development is likely to be via contact with your immediate supervisor, who will help plan your training and provide guidance. As a major research organisation, Culham has a broad range of experts who can offer help in many fields. There are frequent open lectures on a wide variety of subjects at a range of levels. Various more specific training programmes occur each year, including lecture courses on various topics, external courses, on-the-job mentoring, as well as opportunities to attend international conferences. Culham also hosts an intensive international summer school on plasma physics every year.
