The results of the interviews will be announced in early May, the successful applicants will be offered a four year apprenticeship in either mechanical or electrical disciplines.

In August, those who have been selected will be invited, with their parents, to attend an open evening at the Culham Science Centre to see the facilities, to discuss the apprenticeship scheme with the training staff and to sign their indentures.

The Apprenticeship will start in September of that year.
