| The UKAEA Culham Division undertakes fusion research for the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), EURATOM and the European Fusion Development Agreement (EFDA). Culham Science Centre is the home to two world class fusion devices the Mega Amp Spherical Tokamak (MAST) and the Joint European Torus (JET). These devices were designed and built at Culham in collaboration with domestic and continental European industry by teams of professional and technical staff. They are now operated and maintained by a multidisciplinary team of Physicists, Engineers, Technicians and support staff.
